Novato's Holiday Lights Tour is a horse drawn carriage/wagon ride from Center & Wilson to the Christmas House on Devonshire, viewing additional homes as we return to our starting point. The whole ride taking approximately 55 minutes. The Christmas House on Devonshire is open for self-guided tours, and I suggest to my clients that they enjoy the inside and outside of that home following our ride. The rides begin at 5:45, 6:45, 7:45 and 8:45 pm. Groups should bring whatever outerwear, blankets, and refreshments that they would like to enjoy. If the weather is extremely stormy or very windy, I cancel the ride. In a light rain, I "put the top up" on the carriage, and "roll the sides down" (there are clear panels to allow visibility) on the wagon. The carriage seats six, and is mostly pulled by a single horse, we use it on Mondays through Thursdays exclusively. The fee is $115 for the ride regardless of the number of people up to six. The wagon seats twelve, and is pulled by a matched pair and is used exclusively on Saturdays, Sundays, Monday December 24th and Tuesday December 25th. The fee for the wagon is $225. Reservations are made in advance by email to gary@indianvalleycarriage.com or by calling 415.309.8618 I also invite you downtown on Fridays the 7th, 14th, & 21st, when the Downtown Novato Business Association will be sponsoring free carriage rides from 6 pm to 8 pm while the downtown businesses remain open till 8:00 pm. |
